The GRAND MESA NATIONAL FOREST is just seven miles away.  Aptly named the "Evergreen Island in the Sky".  It is a gorgeous and litttle known paradise with over 300 lakes. Hiking trails abound.

Be amazed by our nations newest national park the BLACK CANYON OF THE GUNNISON.

Relax and shop Cedaredge galleries, boutiques and antiques shops.

Drive ESCALANTE CANYON rich with the history of our early European settlers as well as petroglyphs from even earlier dwellers.

The Gold Medal Trout Fishing on our nearby GUNNISON RIVER is world famous.
