Ouray Hot Springs. This a terrific natural hot spring pool that lives in the shadow of the world famous Glenwood pool. Ouray is set in a valley that makes you think you are in the Swiss Alps. An extra treat is the Box Canyon Falls.

Grand Mesa National Forest is just 7 miles away. Aptly named the "Evergreen Island in the Sky" It is a gorgeous and little known paradise. Over 300 lakes.

Escalante Canyon is rich with the history of the early european settlers as well as petroglyphs from even earlier dwellers. Two must see features are Captain Smiths cabin and the Balanced Rock that Ben Lowe where jumped his horse from the cliff.

For fishermen, the Gold Medal section of the Gunnison River beckons. World famous trout fishing.

Travel back in time 150 years at Fort Uncompaghre Living History Museum and Pioneer Town in Cedaredge

Be amazed by our country's newest national park Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park

Shop in our numerous art galleries and antique shops.

See Colorado National Monument. This easily accessible and very beautiful canyon country lets you experience the the types of red rock country Utah is known for in an easy day's drive.

Visit Western Colorado's many Dinosaur attractions. Dinosaur Web. The world's largest dinosaur was unearthed just a few miles away.
